What do you mean by hosed? Can you be more precise, what doesn't work for you? What platform, distro, arch?rstevenson1976 wrote:since the ppa still seems to be hosed, trying to launch the game installed that way is nothing but open gl errors, and I haven't been able to build from source in over a year, I use https://goo.gl/NVlZQJ to install the game

Re: teleportation spells don't work
like I said just a string of open gl errors. the curser isn't right, and all I got is a black screen, and I can't even alt-tab from it to get out if it. I have to ctrl+alt+f1 and close it in htop.
EDIT
by using settings importer again I got a semi-functioning game, and teleportation spells work, but the curser is off, the actual graphic is lower than where the actual curser is (albeit invisible) by about an inch and all dull
EDIT
tried it again and got the blank screeen again, had to ctrl+alt+f1 to get out of it

Have you been following this thread?

We have at least 3 people validating that as of today the daily PPA works.
Are you using the daily or the main ppa?
ppa:openmw/openmw-daily

Re: teleportation spells don't work
Can you try the daily and verify that it works?

done and done, and in case it isn't clear on the video, (I can rerecord it in higher def) the curser is just a basic curser shape with a basic curser color and it registers about 2 or 3 menu lines above it's location
