Not about OpenMW? Just about Morrowind in general? Have some random babble? Kindly direct it here.

Working on an RPG setting

Post by taknamay » 20 Jul 2016, 23:32

Hi folks! Haven't posted here in a while.

I will be playing a tabletop RPG for the first time soon, and I will be the DM! Inspired, I decided to write my own campaign setting I want to use. I think you will notice some similarities to the Elder Scrolls setting. The flavor is modified a lot to fit a more traditional D&D universe, though, and a lot of ideas are my own.

Now that I have done a lot of work on it, I realized maybe you people would enjoy the idea. Therefore, I am sharing it here. It's far from complete, I am adding a bit every day. Plus, I am hoping the campaign I run gives me new ideas.

Awesome! :)

You use the OpenMW-CS to make this?

I am not sure which question you are asking:

If you mean "Have you already made this in CS?" the answer is no!

If you mean "Do you plan to make this in CS in the future?" the answer is maybe, not sure. I have tried out CS but couldn't figure out how to create a game from scratch without Morrowind assets.

EDIT: I found the Example Suite forum! I will get started on something small next chance I get.

The CS and the OpenMW-CS are two separate things. One tries to enforce an EULA on you and your content, while the other doesn't. :)

Sorry, I meant to ask do you plan on using the OpenMW-CS to make this? :)

Glad you found the Template and the ES, that is what it is there for.

Reorganized everything to be a bit easier to navigate each section. I expanded a lot on races recently.
