Not about OpenMW? Just about Morrowind in general? Have some random babble? Kindly direct it here.

For those of you who like Taddeus mod "On the Rocks!" but want to use them with normal maps and don't want to spend hours removing the shiny effect while still keeping the normal maps, then I just did it for you.

For those who don't know, "On the Rocks!" is the mod used for the rocks in the compilation pack MGSO. So if you've got shiny rocks with MGSO, this is the patch for you.

So no, I didn't make this mod. I just converted it for OpenMW.

Personally, I don't like this mod that much, but so many out there uses it with MGSO, so I thought I might fix it for them.

And yes, I removed the AO textures. In vain. Doh!

Anyway link below:

Hmm it's alright, but not as good a job as lysol would do...

Dude, after like four to five hours of manually editing hundreds of nif files, I updated my top five list of things I need in life to include a tool that automates this.

I'm sure I've suggested asking the Nifskope people which tool out of their huge collection they'd recommend using to do this, as it should be like a twenty-line script.

yeah, we're (Niftools team) on discord instead of IRC... it has made it easier for you guys to contact us with issues. ;)

imo discord is more of a pain than discord but I understand that it's not that way for most people

Anyway I'm guessing this should suffice to make a script to convert files https://github.com/niftools/pyffi

So uh... I did begin with a Redoran pack like a year ago which I haven't done anything on since.

So I just started with this instead...

2K textures this time. No parallax though. It doesn't look that good with the sharp corners between each stone.
