Depends. Did you sell her a set of Dark Brotherhood armor? If so, that's how vanilla MW behaves.

If you don't like this behavior, you can disable it in settings.cfg:

yeah, I sold her the armor, just kinda taken aback cause that never happened before

The auto-equip behavior change is new to 0.41, so that's why it wasn't happening before.

The Mac version still will not recognize my existing data folder, no matter what I try to do. The install wizard also behaves very strangely. It seems to operate as if its always running in the background, and it will not let me select any of the files or folders displayed in the selection window, so I cannot point it to my existing data folder.

Also, is there some reason that the new version does not contain all of the other files that the older versions did? Only the main app and the construction kit app are included.

the directories went under restructuring to solve pathing problems of sort

otherwise have you checked that there's no invalid smart quotes from textedit app

also what version exactly you are running and did reconfiguring new setting files help .?
