Sound/Music Assets

Post by hircine » 19 Aug 2012, 12:12

No game is complete without sounds.

there is a diablo like hack and slash here:
https://github.com/clintbellanger/flare
with CC BY SA 3.0 licensing on its Sound.
Music is pretty good

if you download the binary package, check /mods/fantasycore/
for Music/Soundfx.

Also I am available for Voice Acting, once we get a design and script sorted. :)

Post your links to sound content here!

I suggest this site: http://www.freesound.org/
Everything is under a Creative Commons License, hence the name freesound.
I am a bigger fan of tons of control rather than taking the "user-friendly" approach.

I would check out this thread over at the DungeonHack forums: http://dungeonhack.sourceforge.net/foru ... ?f=4&t=896

In fact, there is a lot of good art assets created for the DungeonHack project that you might be able to use.

I just wanted to note that I'd be willing to do voice acting if necessary/desired. That is all.

HELLS YES!

We should limit the people on the island to a number that allows us to voice each person. That would be awesome.
Edit: Oh gods, I just realized we'll need to try to get everyone to do the same accent... *sigh* At least the Gollum voice doesn't really have an accent.

My brother does a good Christopher Walkin and a Bill Cosby.
