Run through Steam.

Post by NordPaladin »

Will be doing support for the Steam version?
I would like to run Morrowind through Steam and that would work your program - OpenMW.

Save the game in the Incentive format are - .ess
Your program saves in the format - .omwsave

I thought I had it load the save from Steam, but alas. (((

STEAM VERSION IS ALREADY SUPPORTED.

Use ess-importer to import ESS saves. Playability and stability is not guaranteed.

There's a slim chance that replacing your Morrowind.exe with a shortcut, symlink or shim to OpenMW will work, but those are hacky solutions. A better idea would be to add the OpenMW executable as a non-Steam game, as that would give all the same benefits, but you'd run less risk of breaking anything.

You misunderstand me. I'm talking about something else. Run Steam - run Morrowund on Steam - and that there were settings in OpenMW.
