Looking nice even though I can't think of much use beyond being a nice gimmick. Not saying there isn't any use, just that someone else will have a better vision of what to do with this :)

I do know however, that for an authentic Morrowind experience in 360° you'll need to add a check whether a cliffracer is in view, and if not, postprocess one into the screenshot.

You know what? I used to make Morrowind Ambient videos for a channel I'm no longer on, and 360 view would have made them killer, especially the travel one... I could use this on my new channel... when OpenMW is complete of course. Gotta have all them bells and whistles!

Taking 360 videos would require pretty powerful PC I suppose, but the result would be great for sure.

BTW my friend from the multiplayer project recently took some very HQ shots on his server, have a look guys: 1, 2, 3.

This is how cubemap generation in some professional game engines, like Source Engine, works. Definitely not just a toy.
