In morrowind, calm creature works on undead, daedra & humanoid creatures despite the spell description saying it shouldn't. Rally, demoralize & frenzy creature do not work on undead & daedra, and for humanoid creatures you need to use rally, demoralize & frenzy humanoid; that makes calm creature the odd one out, making this a clear case of a bug
So I believe Calm creature should be changed to not work on undead & daedra, and Calm Humanoid to work on humanoid creatures instead.
as an aside, Calm/Frenzy/Demoralize/Rally are all described not working on "artifacts" which seems to suggest that there was supposed to be one more creature type (probably intended for centurions). But I don't know if adding that is feasible or even within the scope of this project
