Cel-Shading?

Post by Cephalopod »

OpenSceneGraph supports cel shading. Is there an easy way to turn this on in OpenMW? I think it could look very good, especially with the watercolor texture pack I'm using.

That would be a great toggle to have at some point because I think a lot of people are using watercolor textures now. I switched a few months ago because I was just so sick of how ugly everything looks but I also don't want to have to maintain all the different high res retexture mods and want to maintain the vanilla look. Not sure how this shading would change the feel and if I would like it, but it would be interesting to see. What watercolor texture mod are you using btw?

I'm not sure what the name is.

I think it could be the older version of this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43375/

Watercolored Morrowind with cel shading? I would totally play that! Only with outlines, though, not with solid surfaces.
