I have to agree; anything that improves the ability to create Machinima would be a boon to any project.

and even if you don't consider machinima, having the ability to cut-scene movie for story would be awesome. Someone mentioned halo 3, if anyone remembers halo 1 when the master chief enters the locked room and replays the video from the fallen marine's helmet and first discovers the flood. It was a powerful scene that turned the FPS into a horror survivalist theme

Yes, but you can really see the video taken straight from the game if you fly up to the control room on Halo, jump out of the banshe, open the door and jump back in. You will see the banshe drift to the ground right there in the cut scene as hes walking into the control room on halo.
