Italian translator, should you need help
As the title says, I'm an italian student of specialised translation, and should you need help with an italian version I'd be available (If you don't have one already, that is )
Re: Italian translator, should you need help
The best way to start, is to propose a translation of the lastest news.
See if there is some answer to evaluate the popularity.
You can also work on adding subtitles on the release video. This second task may have more visibility

Re: Italian translator, should you need help
What about translations for the in-game conversation and content – is that not needed? I thought that might be interesting to contribute to.
Re: Italian translator, should you need help
The in-game content of morrowind is owned by Bethesda.
I think that They have never release official translation of the game content in italian.
But fan-translation of the game content in italian have already been done (or at least started) :

http://multiplayer.it/recensioni/morrow ... owind.html
(I don't speak italian, so you will certainly be able to navigate in the italians webpages better than me)
It this is the kind of translation that you want to do, your best choice is to contact the teams responsible for these translation and work with them
