time to help

Post by nnayo »

Hi there,

first of all, a big bravo for the awesome 0.22.0 release.

I've been following the project since end of summer (if I remember well)
and it' seems to me, it's time to lend an hand.

I can help a little mainly in bug hunting
but don't expect any C++ coding, this is not my cup of tea (well, bad expression, I don't like tea neither :? )

I have already found several bugs and I'd like to know what is the most polite way to register them.

I can also help in french translations.

keep going on!
you're really doing a great job, it's impressive!

Good! We recently published 0.22.0 so you can test it and this will be usefull! After finding bug use bugtracker to post information.

Good luck :-)

HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE TEA!?

anyways, welcome, we can always use bug trackers. The best way to report bugs is to post them in the bug release threat. The OpenMW v0.22.0 bug threat is located here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1411
It's always very useful for the devs to file in your bugs here: https://bugs.openmw.org/projects/openmw/activity
you can log in with your forum account and you'll be able to add issues with the category bug. Pls be as clear as possible provide visuals if possible (everybody loves screenies!)

Thanks for your upcoming help :).

My roommate used to say the exact same thing, then he tried a nice cup of tea.

You cant say you dont like it if you never tried it. You can say I dont wish to try it.

He had tried tea before, which is why I wrote "a nice cup of tea".

I myself have hated stuff I've tried once or twice only to later realize that it was just badly made at those times, liver comes to mind actually.

People in the US eat those things too. Been a while since I last had oysters though. Havent had frogs or snails before. I tried either moose or alligator once.
