Anything related to PR, release planning and any other non-technical idea how to move the project forward should be discussed here.

Wait... you're telling me it's been 5 months since this affected change, and no one noticed until I filed a bug report (I'm ChristianTheSatanist on Gitlab, btw)?

Hrmph. Amateurs.

(/s but seriously guys, I'm just glad I figured out why my movement was all effed up before the next release. I jump a lot, so it's not surprising that I would notice something right off the bat, that would NOT have been fun to deal with, LOL)

Same here, but I thought it was an intended feature or something and that's why I never reported it. To be honest 0.44 has been in general a problematic upgrade for me, to the point I reverted back to 0.43 some time ago.

Did you report these bugs to the GitLab bugtracker (assuming they're not duplicates/already addressed)?

The second issue should have been addressed in 0.45.0. The first issue is partially addressed in the current 0.46.0 code - when you are holding the attack button, sneak idle state is no longer reset every frame, so the engine will think that you are in fact sneaking while stnading in place. You still cannot "sneak" while jumping if you hold the sneak button in air, but there's another pull request that addresses it.

That's assuming these issues are what I think they are.

Ah, that feels much better!

Windows RCs get a pass from me. ;)

Server is back up (and hopefully stays up).

Linux targz package RC3s are built too and you can grab them here:

The macOS RC3 runs fine for me. Wow, I'd forgotten how jumping used to feel.
