Unless you know him personally, I think it is useless for you to try. Sorry.

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0
PSA for anyone who was interested in that: this PR has just been merged and got into the master branch, this means that in daily builds and in 0.45.0 release scripted animations will no longer be interrupted for no serious reason and mannequins in certain house mods will not be cleaned from the game world accidentally.
Re: OpenMW 0.45.0
Nice progress. Looks like we'll have a 0.45.0 release in no time - once version 0.44.0 has been released.
Alas, lysol is right. Zini already tried (and failed) to convince scrawl.

Over 100 issues with 0.45.0 milestone are now closed on the tracker. Ouch.
Re: OpenMW 0.45.0
Indeed. Now let's wait for OpenMW-CS to catch up a bit and, then, roll out another release. That one is going to be huge again.Capostrophic wrote: ↑05 Aug 2018, 14:30 Over 100 issues with 0.45.0 milestone are now closed on the tracker. Ouch.
Re: OpenMW 0.45.0
Sad to hear about scrawl having left the project. I don't know what happened other than what was posted in this thread, but his departure certainly is a great loss. I must admit my enthusiasm about OpenMW has somewhat diminished over the last few years, with v1.0 always just being around the corner, it seemed, but nonetheless it's an amazing project and I am looking forward to future releases. I have nothing but respect for everyone involved. Keep it up, guys, you are amazing!

Hi Okulo,
You seem to have a somewhat pessimistic view of the Pareto Principle (also known as the 80/20 Rule). ;0)
Best Wishes, John

No, that has the phrasing in common, but not much more. The most difficult stuff that is nonetheless not blocking other tasks is usually left until the end. Those tasks, as well as polishing and handling those obscure, tough or just straight up aggravating issues make that last bit of work incredibly tough to get through.
