No work is being done on Editor post-Bug-Tracker Segregation

Post by Greendogo »

Since September, no Editor related issues have been updated. This was when the Editor issues were segregated from the other issues.

I hypothesize this is because they get no visibility from active developers because they take an extra amount of work (scrolling down) to see:

People are lazy, programmers more so. Don't make there job harder on them.

Zini and Aeslywinn were the primary coders for the editor.

Zini's activity has decreased. And unfortunately Aeslywinn left. This is probably the reason for lack of editor progress.

Yeah, Aeslywinn is out of the time being and I am kinda on a break. Also that was kinda the point of the bug tracker reorganisation. We were slacking with OpenMW 1.0 and needed to draw more attention to it. Obviously that had to decrease the OpenMW-CS activity.

Actually some Editor issues were just logically moved to OpenMW 0.41.0 target version by those who solved them.

Exactly.

For example, the rendering of water inside OpenMW-CS is a new feature in the 0.41 version.
