Request: Reintroduce news posts

Anything related to PR, release planning and any other non-technical idea how to move the project forward should be discussed here.

I thought there were no news posts as the project is no longer under active development.

Openmw is limping along, not really much different to what it was a year ago.

CS is still unusable for anything serious, or even some trivial things.

As well as being full of bethesda assets still the ES seems to run itself into the ground.

Sure, if you have the time and will to do this. What about regular posts though? Do you think this is feasible? (Let's say on a monthly basis.)
-- We could also have multiple writers who specialise in certain aspects of the project (e.g., development, multiplayer project, Example Suite, YouTube videos).

... Which makes the news posts even more important to make the progress (or in certain cases non-progress) more transparent to outsiders.

Biweekly or monthly. Depends on the features we get.

Sounds good. You could always post a news draft to our Team forums to get some feedback.

This "Slice of OpenMW" is rather nice to read. It's clear and simple for regular people but still gives an idea of the work that's put into this project :)

DestinedToDie, your posts are multitudes more interesting than any post I have ever written. A slice of OpenMW is exactly what the community needs to stay engaged. Happy to see you took over!

I thought I was OpenMW's biggest fan, but I'm starting to think you want to take over that position Atualpha.

Perhaps worded poorly, but nice to see such activity on your behalf, especially in the mods section.
