I would guess the account was created by the guy who did the first couple of release videos. Those were made before my time here, but I guess there are people here who know?
EDIT: Ah! Here we go: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3171&p=35277#p35285
Star-Demon was his nickname at least.
[WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
Add me to that list. The following members stated that they do not know the recovery e-mail address:
No idea.Who created the YouTube channel in the first place?
We could ask lgro, our forum admin, if the mysterious email a**********[email protected] exists in our forum database.

Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
Has anyone pm'd weirdsexy and sirherrbataka? Since we are asking Igro to take a look at emails anyways, we could find weirdsexy and sirherbataka's emails and contact them that way if they are no longer logging onto the forums. The youtube account information should be saved somewhere, so when members go inactive someone else can take over. Maybe we can set up a new backup email for the youtube channel?

There are few users with fits to this email scheme, but I think it's ElderTrolls email.scrawl wrote: We could ask lgro, our forum admin, if the mysterious email a**********[email protected] exists in our forum database.

Success, I'm in! Thanks lgro, looks like it was indeed that email.
I was asked to assign a new password, so just did that.
It looks like we can only assign one recovery email, I've left that is as it is for now.

Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
Should the recovery email be reset to either Scrawl, Lgro or Zini?

Oh reallllly? Sorry everbody. Just put these fingers I was pointing back in my pockets. Definitely switch the email address to a core member. I have disappeared a couple of times from the community.
Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
Another idea is to create a second OpenMW e-mail account and cross-link it with the original one. This way we would keep everything non-personal and could simply spread the details among the core members.
I also vote for setting a simple security question (Google's "step 2"), just in case...

youtube at openmw.org can be used for YT related stuff and as a secondary e-mail account (if non-gmail email can be used on YT).
Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
@ lgro: Sounds good to me.
The release commentary video is uploaded and ready for test-watching. Please also pay attention to the subtitles (English/German), the video title and the video description. Feedback on these is always welcome.

What about a news post to raise attention (when the video is going public)? Is Okulo still active on writing our updates?
