While trying to find bugs/crashes in OpenMW with Tamriel Rebuilt, I took some screenshots and put them on our (neglected) moddb page.
It would be great if our dear sysadmin (@lgromanowski) could restore the ability to upload images in the wiki by the way ;)

Could you please send me information how to reproduce an error (step by step)?

@Ace (SWE): https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/3061
Was this supposed to have been fixed, or shall we declare Windows XP unsupported?Running openmw.exe on 32bit Windows XP.
ERROR:
openmw.exe - Entrypoint not found
Can not find entrypoint of procedure GetTickCount64 in DLL-file KERNEL32.dll
Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
I called for testing on XP regarding the nightlies and their switch to OSG, since I didn't know if I would retain XP support during it, and I don't recall hearing much problems then.
Guessing not that many people tested it.
Either way, I think I know where the problem might be, since I've been running on a unified build environment using XP fallback toolsets on 32-bit. And OSG might have to actually be built with a truly XP supporting compiler instead of using a toolset for the support.
Theoretically fixable. I'd just have to set up an XP VM, install an early enough Visual Studio (2008/2010) on there, and then rebuild the entire dependency chain for 32-bit.
Sadly I do not have the time to do any of that right now, so I guess for now 0.37.0 won't support XP.

I responded here:

I encourage other devs to come here to drum up some free PR for OpenMW.

As much as I like the mainstream coverage we're getting, I find the ethics of both of those sites to be highly dubious. I'm not referring to the Quinnspricy, I'm talking about how Sites like Kotaku and RPS don't follow The SPJ's code of ethics and are very unprofessional. Sure they have their own "code of ethics", but they don't follow them. Kotaku has been known to rush stories before fact checking with provocative clickbait titles that borders on criminal libel, they do the bare minimum to keep themselves from getting sued. These guys aren't professional and Kotaku says they're not press and are "just bloggers", but when it E3 comes around and they want a press pass, they say "Oh, gimme, we're Journalists". So they like to have their cake and eat it too. Kotaku and RPS are just tabloids.
Watch if they read this post, they'll make unbacked claims about this community being sexist with a confirmation bias. (they've done it before with racism with the Star Citizen developer)

There will always be muckrakers, just use common sense and try not to fall into the trap.
It doesn't hurt to answer questions and clarify things about the project. Keep to the point, and only stay on topic about OpenMW.
If they get personal and you feel uncomfortable, just tell them you'll not answer those questions or just ignore them.

This is no biggie in my opinion. Both the RPS and Kotaku articles are accurate as far as I can tell and even bad publicity is good publicity.
