PR person and posting updates on other forums
Re: PR person and posting updates on other forums
i can continue on bethsoft forums if you guys don't mind ?)
Re: PR person and posting updates on other forums
I'm doing the Steam Forums.. Although I can take on more.
We should definitely go through and post about 0.37.0 when it's released.
Let's update this and continue to use it as our tracker, which seems to have password associated accounts?

Also can we keep the posts consistent? Can we write them up, agree and post them? It's much better IMO when they are official looking and consistent.

Ouch, I haven't been updating this. I will add that to my release process. But my wiki login doesn't seem to work anymore? lgro, if you see this, any ideas?Jyby wrote:Let's update this and continue to use it as our tracker, which seems to have password associated accounts?

Yes, I agree. This is why I post the release announcement I write in plaintext, html, and bbcode. That's the release announcement we should post everywhere, because it is reviewed and approved by the team. If there's anything you think should be added/changed about the announcement, lemme know.Jyby wrote:Also can we keep the posts consistent? Can we write them up, agree and post them? It should work. Please check if you're entering correct password.raevol wrote:Ouch, I haven't been updating this. I will add that to my release process. Re: PR person and posting updates on other forums
Do we have the Forum passwords to the OpenMW accounts? I can be responsible for them if thats ok.
I guess if I am, I have duties to respond to any questions people might have. But hopefully our posts direct them to our forums.

FWIW, I'm doing the Bethesda Forums, but I'm not touching any other forum accounts.
Re: PR person and posting updates on other forums
Just remind that we should update some forum posts.

Hey fellas, I just wanted to say that, for whatever its worth, I've been keeping the still-ongoing (albeit slow) Morrowind thread over on Something Awful updated on OMW's progress. People there are looking forward to it. I've been thinking that once 1.0 is upon us I might even throw some spare change at an ad over there on the forums to redirect to this website.

I managed to get OpenMW on to wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenMW
Apparently in the small amount of time that I was doing that, a french version showed up as well:
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenMW
I ask everyone here if they could take the time to proof read the article, fix typos and of course, help fill in with content.
The biggest missing piece right now would be the history of OpenMW.
