The purpose of this thread is to attract ideas and talent for OpenMW merchandise. While version 1.0.0 is a whiles out, I think we should begin the planning process for creating future of OpenMW "swag."
Items to design could include,
- t-shirts,
- hoodies,
- hats, and
- posters.
So feel free to share your ideas or offer your skills here! I'd love to rock an OpenMW t-shirt someday!

Re: OpenMW Merchandise
I predict this idea will be assassinated.
Re: OpenMW Merchandise
Ha whys is that? You wouldn't rock an OpenMW t-shirt?Greendogo wrote:I predict this idea will be assassinated.
Re: OpenMW Merchandise
I would, yes. I'm saying the idea is going to be ferociously shot down by the community because OpenMW is generally viewed as a non-profit hobbyist organization. But to answer your question, yes, I would rock an OpenMW t-shirt, most assuredly.
Re: OpenMW Merchandise
Having t-shirts doesn't make us profit and it sets our hobby in stone!
We could direct people to buy their shirts from http://www.customink.com
We wouldn't see any money from it.

I'd rock an OpenMW shirt too. Best to just let people get their own made though, any project-endorsed financial transactions (aside from buying Morrowind from Bethesda) should be completely avoided.
Also, go buy Morrowind!

Re: OpenMW Merchandise
This all sounds very commercial to me.
Re: OpenMW Merchandise
Its simple creating a design and publishing it on a merchandise site.
Re: OpenMW Merchandise
I know, but irrational as it may be, it feels a bit wrong. Even if selling OpenMW stuff is legal, it doesn't fit with the culture I've observed so far. Not as bad as what this guy suggested a while ago, but it still feels a bit meh.
