Could you please send thanks to all users who have starred the bullet bug in the PS?

How many votes did the issue have before your mention on the OpenMW weekly update, sirherrbatka? It currently has 185.

New releases on ppa:openmw/openmw with updated ogre packages (rebuilt everything else) to match closely what we see in debian for 1.8.1, meaning no more Cg. Cheers!

Very nice. I will do a final pass on the release announcement and mention the Bullet bug.

I've been running around crazy, but should have time to catch up on all of this by the end of the week. Sorry guys.

The bullet bug doesn't affect this release, so I don't see why it would be worth mentioning it in a release announcement.

It is worth saying for Ubuntu releases that there are some changes done in the PPA packages to solve some problems. That we are going to dynamic libs that follow closely to upstream. So during the next upgrade, it should pull in all the necessary libs. Both ppa:openmw/deps and ppa:openmw/build no longer exists, so users should purge those packages. If there are conflicts, then it comes from other PPAs that try to install the same packages. This will become less of an issue with time as the packages get integrated upstream to Debian and Ubuntu.

@Raevol: Can you say that the Ubuntu Saucy release will be delayed? We are waiting for Ubuntu to push a SRU (service release update) for Ogre3D to fix a compilation bug. All other Ubuntu releases are ready to go.

People can help out by going to:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1250924
and select "Does this affect you too?" which will add heat and urgency to getting the fix underway.

Thanks!

Roger on all counts. I've got some edits that need to be made to the release announcement, final approval, and then I'll need time to do the uploads. Checking in, I'm still on it, bear with me sorry!
