Anything related to PR, release planning and any other non-technical idea how to move the project forward should be discussed here.

Oh, right. I should probably've said that the RC builds I've put up are from the release tag, so just use those.

I still need to code-ify the release announcement, but the big holdup for our releases is always me finding the time to sit down and upload stuff for a couple hours on my slow-as-snot American internet connection. Let me know!
I might be missing something here, but -in general- why don't we give google code access to packagers and let them upload directly to the downloads page? They can be marked as RC until they are approved, then renamed later.

This is a great idea.

Also we may want to re-discuss that thing where google code is not going to be accepting file uploads sometime in the near future... we should change our process before google code closes file uploads, so we're not caught unprepared.

There were other proposals in different topic and I think best option would be SF.net as BrotherBrick suggested (if I remember correctly). Regarding SF.net - I've just sent e-mail to Nico with a request for access to OpenMW project page on sf.net (I had to do this before, but it slipped my mind).

Whatever works best.

I never heard anything from Chris about that physics change. Here's the release announcement without it:

Looks good.

I would add (Mac and Linux only) to "- Implemented Data File installation in the Launcher".

Regarding SF: I would prefer if we could avoid this site. Since SF has started to bundle binary packages with malware (http://malwaretips.com/Thread-Sourcefor ... by-Ask-com), it seems not appropriate to use this site anymore. Admittedly its an opt-in program, but still.

Added.

Zini, any suggestions for where to host instead? I kind of like the idea of hosting the packages in torrents, but that does add a barrier to entry to anyone downloading them, haha.

No idea, sorry. The Open Source space seems to rapidly running out of binary hosting options recently.
