Windows testing of branch needed

Please test this branch and check if the "launcher resets itself to OpenGL on every startup" bug is gone.

OpenMW starts out as a window in the center of the screen when launched, can't get it maximized. Getting a message "The application was unable to start correctly" when trying to start the launcher.

Thats the default. If the launcher worked you could set resolution&fullscreen.

Edit: also, did you copy the new settings-default.cfg to your build dir?

I think it is limited to my machine, never really used the launcher before - probably missing a library.

ah, okay. well the only thing launcher specific is probably QT.
