Somewhat useful. However, a lot of work for a few special cases. We aren't exactly getting swarmed with crash reports. Still, if someone really wants to put in the time I wouldn't object to it.

Migration is complete of openmw issues and their comments. :)

Zini, may I also migrate the openmw ES and Template issues over as well? We can tag them Example-Suite and Template accordingly, I think there are about 30 or so.

Or would you rather have this as another project?

I personally believe that the Template and ES are apart of the OpenMW project as a whole, but it's up to you.

Can you point out what you mean with template? I don't see a template project on the old tracker. I vaguely remember what it is about, but I haven't heard anything about it for ages. I thought it was dead.

Regarding the example suite: I think it would make more sense to have a different project within the OpenMW group for that. The example suite will probably require a different set of issue labels and having these mixed into the OpenMW project will just cause confusion.

Its still part of the OpenMW, if it sits within the OpenMW group.

Ok, no problem. Destined said that issue renumbering wouldn't be a problem. The template project is with the ES, one is the bare minimum to get started making a game, the other is our demo.

I just noticed that a bunch of attachments are missing from issue reports, such as screenshots and the like. This is obviously something that would be better off fixed than broken.

That's a problem... the API for issue/comment attachments is not clear. There is an API to upload files to a project, we could abuse that.

But at this moment, no attachments are migrated.

google and issue tracker with gitlab hasn't been of much help either aside from issues being closed for lack of update.

since redmine is still online, although read only, a little convenience maybe would be to add a link to the original issue on bugs.openmw.org at the bottom of every issue in gitlab.

Maybe in this line:

(RM-$issueID [from redmine $originalURL] : created on $date by $submitter, )

I _really_ do not want keep messing with bodies of text if I don't have, and since that is of little utility once redmine goes away (broken URL)... I'll not be doing that.

I do not enjoy writing one-off tools. ;)

Managed to get attachments migrated:
https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/example-suite/issues/3

So that's kinda cool. Once example-suite has finished migrating, I'll start on openmw proper.
