I see these forums as our primary community nexus. I prefer IRC to discord because it is "more open", but so long as any important discussion is migrated from whatever chat service back to these forums, I won't complain. I'm barely on IRC as it is, and certainly not going to sign up for a new service.

Those already using discord just want a webhook to see when commits happen like what currently happens on IRC. You don't have to use discord or irc, neither one is being shut down.

So people have been asking for a webhook to be set up so a bot would spam github updates on Discord. Well here is the webhook:
