We've already been over this with Matt @ Bethesda, there isn't any Bethesda IP in OpenMW. We can not say the same for any other projects however.

With that said, it's really really easy for people who risk nothing from a kickstarter to suggest doing a kickstarter, while people that actually work on this project might risk a lot with a kickstarter.
It's the same with that troll who called sandstranger a "coward" (lol) for being discreet with his android port. Easy enough for him to say, he's not the one that risks a lawsuit.
