a simple mod that doesn't work

Post by blowingsand »

I'm trying to use an .esp that doesn't require any script extender.
The mod simply adds a scroll that lists all the skill increases since the last level increase when you "read" it.
In OpenMW, the scroll displays variables instead of numbers - ie. for acrobatics it displays "^fl_sp_acri".
Is there some way I can get this .esp to work with OpenMW?

In the same vain, how can I contact people who are testing out mods for OpenMW? I want to help.

Lastly, I love using the new abilities to set "sneaking always on" and "color cursor NPC possessions" in the settings config - keep up the good work!

Can you attach or provide a link to the mod?

The wiki's mod status page is probably the best place to start - https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Mod_status

Just pick a mod that hasn't been reported, test it, and add the results to the wiki.

Or pick one with out-of-date results, and see if it's now more playable - if so, update the existing entry.

If you identify a problem that's not already covered by bug reports, then raise a new bug report on the problem.
