Very informative interview. Thanks Darkelfguy and scrawl!
scrawl mentioned that he's a fan of Neverwinter Nights. I loved that game back in the day. While the original campaigns
IMO weren't all that spectacular, 3rd-party modules more than made up for that. The native Linux client sadly doesn't work so well nowadays.
Perhaps
Xoreos someday will become good enough to replace it.

Thread necro time!
Darkelfguy and Zini made a follow up interview:

Slightly off-topic, but how is OpenMW supposed to be pronounced? I've always said "open em-double u", but Zini calls it "open Morrowind".

slip of the tongue? if we're ever to move beyond morrowind, that bit needs to be dropped unless we want another friendly chat with bethesda about it.

OpenMW is to be pronounced "open em-double u". But when you speak about it, sometimes it just slips out. OpenMW is the true Morrowind after all!
Anyway, the interview - though very short - was very informative. Toss a coin to decide whether v1.0 is released this year or early in 2017.

Good interview. Darkelfguy seems more experienced now than a year ago. Better questions and more follow up questions than before.

Nice interview; it was great to get the lowdown and some juicy details on the next release.
