MyGUI works with ogre's new render systems already with the custom mygui render manager we are using.

He said it would, just not in the DX11 rendering path.

It will. (I haven't tested, but GL3 works, so DX11 should too)

Hi there,

I'll check 1.9 RC when I'll return, but if this changelog line is what I think, it only fixes build against libc++, build with -std=c++11 will still fail.

And no, it's not possible (or at least very hard) to build OpenMW and its dependencies with current GCC on OS X for two reasons:
  • Lack of Objective C block support in GCC (block declarations are founds in system headers), there's some old Apple patch for GCC, but it's for 4.2 I think
  • OS X system frameworks (ones high-level enough to rely on Objective C runtime which in turn relies on C++ runtime) will be binary incompatible with recent GCC's libstdc++
