i need help

i cant access the openmw settings.cfg it just shows a white paper icon i am trying to add mods so i need to access the open settings.cfg or default settings

Double click to open, or right click -> open.

"Select a program from a list of installed programs"

Select Notepad.


Alternatively, install Notepad++. Right click -> "Edit with Notepad++"

ok so i use the notepad what do i select to open ? the cfg settings ?

also i cant use notepadd for mac osx is there any other altnerative besides notepadd

download notepad plus.. easier to edit cfg files

Whilst I agree that Notepad plus is an excellent tool for this purpose, the OP is a Mac user, and Notepad plus is Windows-only.

I'm not a Mac user, so I can't confirm this, but I think there should be an application called TextEdit on the Mac which should do the job.
