Both ``easy'' and ``standard'' arguments are void.
A <img is easier and more supported. At very least the page should degrade gracefully.

Re: Media Page
"Keep It Simple Stupid" : the wiki page is fine, isn't it ?
Re: Media Page
IMHO no. When people look at a project they don't go digging in the wiki for screenshots.ap0 wrote:"Keep It Simple Stupid" : the wiki page is fine, isn't it ?

Re: Media Page
So, what is the final decision, should it stay as is, or should I revert it to the previous one (with movies only, because I think putting images in <a>/<img> tags would break existing layout)?
Re: Media Page
I vote flashy for the media page (not adobe flashy, javascript flashy).
If they have javascript disabled we can have a link to the wiki.
If they have javascript disabled we can have a link to the wiki.

Adding features to the Media page
Qubodup from freegamer had this advice for the media page:
EDIT
I moved it here.
Sir.
Does anyone know if we can do this/does webpage design?
If you have the ability to edit this, I would recommend adding the following to http://openmw.org/media/
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="104px" src="http://www.youtube.com/subscribe_widget?p=MrOpenMW" width="560"></iframe>
This will embed a thing like http://www.youtube.com/subscribe_widget?p=MrOpenMW that allows youtube users to subscribe instantly and see some stats over your channel.
Cheers

I moved it here.
Sir.
