Russian news page is out of date (last news is 0.40)

Post by Thunderforge » 31 Dec 2017, 21:13

The Russian news page for this site only has news stories up to 0.40. It would be great if we could get more recent ones.

I don't know who was previously translating the Russian news stories, but if there's a lack of volunteers, I think it would be great if we could either of the following:
  • Use Google Translate to translate each announcement into Russian, and provide a sentence at the beginning saying that it was auto-translated via Google Translate, so that nobody wonders why there are a few mistakes.
  • Get someone who knows Russian to translate a generic release announcement that a non-Russian speaker could easily substitute with a new release version and hyperlink. This would mean the Russian release announcements would lack the bullet points that those of other languages do and every release would be more or less identical, but at least it would let Russian users know that the latest versions have indeed been released.

This one.

Otherwise, getting translators can't be that hard, it feels like 60 % of the OpenMW community is Russian.
