It looked square, simple, plain and pr0. So diffrent from silly, rounded and gradiented look of most webpages.

When I was working on it before, I had a hard time making it look right. I'll have another go at it and see what I come up with.

well, i prefer prev variant. The new one is ok besides 3d titles ? it's better to stick to completly flat theme imho.

The titles either need a distinguished border as you see in the current draft, or a darker background as you saw in the previous draft. I went for the lighter background because getting a good color for the darker background was driving me nuts. But I had another person say they preferred the darker background, let's see what more people say here.
