Custom Weathertypes
I realize this may be more dificult to implement, as weather is hardcoded into the game. I'm not sure how OpenMw handles weather but I expect it does the same way. Anyways, I'd like to be able to add custom weathertypes via the new CS. Weather is extremely limited in Morrowind since there is no way ...

Re: openCS, where to get it
I still think the Editor should be called the CHIM kit.raevol wrote:Maybe we should rename the "Editor Development" forum to OpenCS Development? That is if we've settled on OpenCS as a name?

Re: MGE, MWSE, Code Patch
I've never taken the time to look into what MGE specifically does, [...] I'm not versed in all the jargon about this but IIRC, MGE is a shader injector. It runs it's own version of directX on top of Morrowind's version of DirectX in order to display things like shaders, distant land, per-pixel ligh...

Re: Dual Wielding via animation layering?
Remember that right mouse button opens character menu... It could be a problem :D Anyway, it could be possible only via engine plug-in (so very, very post-1.0) In Skyrim I don't use the right click for it anyways, it won't really be that much of a problem because users should be able to set the sec...

Re: Zooming with mouse wheel in 3rd person view
I'd love for the 3d person camera to work a lot more like it does in Skyrim personally. In Skyrim, as long as you're not walking/running, you can rotate the camera around your character and if you walk/run while it's rotated you're character will rotate and walk/run in the direction the camera is fa...

Re: OpenMW versus MW: swimming
@Tarius & sirherrbatka, what you described is kind of exactly what I had in mind. The stats of the spell would affect water differently. In addition to this, different spells would affect the water and have certain advantages over another. Poison would have a longer affect duration but do less d...

Dual Wielding via animation layering?
So I realize combat and animation layering hasn't even been implemented yet, but I had an idea I wanted to ask about here. So mirrored versions of Morrowind's animations are available for people who want to play left handed characters, my question is would OpenMw be able to make use of those in orde...

Re: OpenMW versus MW: swimming
On the topic of water, being able to affect water with destruction magic would be pretty cool. Casting a fire spell could heat the water and cause fire damage to npcs/creatures in it, frost spells could freeze/cool down the water, spark spells could electrocute it, and poison spells could poison the...
