Re: Command Prompt Fails
Looks like a bug. When I changed my datafiles folder from: data="/home/jirka642/bin/Morrowind/BASE" to: data="/home/jirka642/bin/Morrowind & a/BASE" it also failed: Installing crash catcher Loading config file: /home/jirka642/.config/openmw/openmw.cfg... done. Loading config ...

Re: How to debug mod performance problem?
Must be bad models. You might want to run "tcg" in console to see model collision geometry. (to see which models are problem)
The way some "high quality" models for morrowind are made is very retarded.

Re: How to debug mod performance problem?
Press F3 few times in game, and see if the "openmw.log" is being spammed by errors (that can also slow openmw down).

Re: Mod : "content file does not exist"
That openmw.cfg looks OK to me. The only other possible problem that I can think of is that OpenMW has problem with correctly encoding the "é" in the mod name. But that's something OpenMW should not have any problems with. Maybe try to rename the mod to not have any non-english characters....

OK, thanks for the responses everyone.
I expected it would be mostly the models fault, but it's good to get a confirmation.

Should "tcg" command brutally drop fps? and physics question.
I was testing this old heavily modded setup, and was getting very low fps when I tried to run into urns and baskets in Balmora. I wanted to know if there is some problem with them, so I enabled colision geometry with "tcg". Fps dropped drastically. :o Should that happen? I would not expect...

This is how I installed old OGRE version, it might help you. I also didn't need any recompiling.

Re: Skies IV can't see rain
Try openmw.cfg, it stores data imported from morrowind.ini
