Re: followers stuck in areas I got them in
Presumably these are from a mod? A quick test is to load the mod in OpenMW-CS and from the file menu click Verify. You will get a list of errors found in Morrowind and the mod, you will be looking for scripts marked as errors particularly involved with AIFollow, or something similar, for the mercena...

OK it seems you are good to go, do not forget though that OpenMW-CS is still a work in progress, vastly improved recently but still can cause problems.

Re: What are the start scripts to start a game?
Thanks, I assume in Morrowind the right one is "CharGenBoatNPC"? That is the script for the guard on the deck of the boat, the first script that runs is CharGenNameNPC Okay so I'm trying to load morrowind.esm with my tesannywn.esp file ticked... this seems to be the only way from the laun...

Re: Setting up a new install of MW and MGSO
Most mods in the list have not been tested so any feedback would be appreciated, narrowing down which mod is causing a problem might be problematic with them all installed though. There are some that are known to have problems if they are listed on our mod page with bug reports you can follow the pr...

Re: What are the start scripts to start a game?
The process of making a new game, a TC, is fairly simple. In OpenMW-CS select new game, give it a title and a new game is made as a .omwgame which is the OpenMW replacement for .esm. All you need to do then is add all the assets you need for the game, currently only the hard coded things like abilit...

Re: contribute information to wiki/mod status
I can open any sort of archive format on native Arch, I have no use for VM's. If something does not run natively on linux then I do not use it.

Re: Mod: Levelling Just Happens
My own take on savegames, the way I always play, except for testing, is there is only one save game per character, that is made when I need to stop playing and is reloaded when I next start. If my character dies for any reason then the save is deleted, that character is dead and cannot be resurrecte...

Re: Why aren't mods on a github?
Ahha, a whole new can of worms 'the best Morrowind mods.' Just what constitutes a good mod is as varied as the players themselves, the only reasonable definition I have found for good is works as intended. The mod staus wiki page uses the working with OpenMW status as the main criteria ans links to ...
