I was just wondering if it would be easier to turn and FPS into and RPG than writing the engine from scratch.

It's just better to have a beta first. Using release in place of a beta is just bad PR waiting to happen. If someone says "this sucks, it's so buggy" then we should be able to tell them "it's still beta" and not "it's new."

Even after changing operating systems, the exact same problem happens. How likely is it that this is a hardware issue?
Thankfully I can successfully test on my other machine, which runs Windows. It saddens me I won't be able to play on this one though

Oh, that does look interesting, although I was more thinking about single player RPG's. Could the source code be modified to accommodate a more plot-oriented single player game, similar to TES? I am using "Abrowser", which is Trisquel's generic branded version of Firefox so that all trademarks are removed.
