Here is a screenshot of my desktop. Using MATE 1.6 on Ubuntu 12.04 (planning to switch distributions at some point, not sure when). Theme is based on Ubuntu themes for LXDE and XFCE.

This. One dream I had of for a TC (which would probably be impossible in vanilla MW) is to make a siege/massive army/kingdoms at war style game.
