Re: MCP-like menu

This is also a potential solution to some of those difficult "Do we keep this bug/feature from vanilla, or fix it?" questions. Though unfortunately it bloats the code base a bit, as well as this menu, so where the answer is clear I think that single route should be taken. A couple of examp...

Re: Auto-Update Feature

I think that addresses my main concerns. Just need to make it robust enough to recover from a failed update, rather than leaving a non-functional installation in place. Maybe install into new directory, then delete the old directory and rename the new one on successful completion (assuming that is p...

Re: Give your thoughts and feedback on this

Added my comments, which are mildly supportive. There's another recent regression that I think I've seen - summoning a bound weapon is rather clumsy now, I will check if it's been reported already, if not I will check the circumstances and report it. UPDATE - looks like it's a variant of the recent ...

Re: Auto-Update Feature

I suspect the attempt to update would fail on Windows, because files would be in use for the launcher - at best you would probably be in a "reboot your computer to complete the update" situation. Also I wouldn't recommend overwriting a "stable" version with a "nightly" ...

Re: Manual & Icons

I will go ahead with that now. It sounds as if the rest of the wiki page for the CS probably wants clearing - perhaps put in some other relevant links there. I've cloned the repository, and started looking at the source for the documentation. I'm not familiar with the markup language, but it doesn't...

Re: Manual & Icons

I would like to try to contribute to this part of the project - manual/tutorials for the CS. Most of my time will probably continue to be spent on mod compatibility testing, but this does bring me into contact with the CS as I try to work out why mods don't work in OpenMW. It seems to me that there ...

Re: Natural Healing corrected and fully functional!

See the discussion at https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4304 Unfortunately, as Zini says, your proposal doesn't do what you expect it to... if ( 20 >= HRatio >= 11 ) In the absence of better logic, it treats it as if (( 20 >= HRatio) >= 11) First it evaluates the first half of the ex...

Re: Natural Healing corrected and fully functional!

Agreed - the proposed solution will run without errors, but will give the wrong solution. Simply type "20>=15>=11" into the console (without the quotes) - it gives 0 (false) which isn't what was wanted... Another possible alternative would be something like: if (HRatio<=10) set RMult to 1 ...

Re: Natural Healing corrected and fully functional!

Yes, that does look better. I will change the wiki link to that post.

Re: Natural Healing corrected and fully functional!

Will do.

I know I've seen some related discussion, and I think it was here - viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4304
