Re: Uvirith's Legacy problems
Had some free time, so switched from openmw to the openmw-git package that clones the repo, compiles and installs everything, and the "Fix attempting to access NPC stats on creatures" works. Those are the good news. The bad news is that the patch to the physics system is seemingly doing no...

Uvirith's Legacy problems
On arch linux, latest stable openmw 0.41 the teleport ring of Uvirith's Legacy latest version 3.5 (available here http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1614366-rel-uviriths-legacy-35-and-others/ ) is glitched. Once you get the ring, if you equip it and choose the Lower Tower travel destination (only dest...

Re: Degrees of mod compatibility
Is there a feel for the extent to which some of the world-changing mods like Darknut's "Greater Dwemer Ruins" and Team SSE's "Sotha Sil Expanded" will work with this new engine? Not an answer to your question but regarding those two mods, none of them lists MWSE as dependencies ...

Balmora River House
Balmora River House by Calislahn (my favorite "small, serviceable house for a starting adventurer" mod) can be found in http://download.fliggerty.com/download-44-439 . Besides the main three, only Cali- RiverHouse.esp loaded (notice the inconspicuous space in the mod name) in openmw v0.40 ...

Re: A few notes on openmw
The following are not openmw bugs per se, but "annoyances", both in the interface and gameplay. Mainly due to not having the MCP tweaks and fixes available, so I do not expect them to be addressed before v1.0 is out (but maybe some kind soul out there will address it before that). Interfac...

Re: A few notes on openmw
In this post, I will comment on what I view as bugs, or mod issues that I would like some help to debug. Bug(s): 1. maybe I am missing something, but I cannot use relative paths (e.g. "~/public/games/openmw/mods/mashed_lists") as openmw-launcher does not find the relevant files. Have to us...

A few notes on openmw
Started a morrowind game in openmw with a fairly long list of mods. On arch linux, with latest v0.40 (any more details needed just ask). For the record here is the list of data paths: data="~/public/games/openmw/mods/morrowind_patch" data="~/public/games/openmw/mods/better_bodies"...

Re: Debugging GCD
Ah ha! Progress. Switching to the lean version of GCD made by Huskobar the error does *not* happen. I did not used this version because Huskobar fooled around with the main scripts, splitting them and renaming variables (to work around the vanilla engine bugs), making it more difficult for me to bak...

Re: Debugging GCD
I'd say the error log points out the problem pretty well. Right. Was just wondering if there was some option where the script line triggering the error was revealed to narrow the search. what version of GCD are you using ? there is lean version, and couple of modded original ones at least what reme...

Debugging GCD
Hi all, When creating a new char in a heavily modded game with Galsiah's character development mod GCD (settings imported from existing install via openmw-launcher -- henceforth called "original install"), noticed that was not getting the amounts of magicka GCD characters get. The log spit...
