Re: OpenMW 0.41.0
So... the release info goes from raevol's news post --> openmw person --> SirSalami --> forum? Or does SirSalami keep an eye on the OpenMW news? Because this seems a bit redundant...

Re: Advanced rendering
Implementing shadows sounds good to me. A lot of people list their reason for not playing on OpenMW a lack of shadows. Yeah, if I may complain a bit, sometimes it feels like we're suffering from the chicken/egg problem. 1. There are no mods that make use of advanced rendering because there's no adv...

Re: OpenMW 0.41.0
I've posted to our thread on the Beth forums. Should I also be taking some of the other media outlets here? Like the Nexus or something? Feel free to update any forum or site you can think of -- except those on our list which are maintained by other users and still have 0.40.0 status. Fantastic. Wh...

Re: Request: Reintroduce news posts
DestinedToDie, your posts are multitudes more interesting than any post I have ever written. A slice of OpenMW is exactly what the community needs to stay engaged. Happy to see you took over!

Re: Release process changes
As much as I am a fan of transparency, there is the problem of people coming here, jacking the links for the videos and posting it everywhere. It's a problem since people will think a release is already done when it isn't. They'll search around a bit and give up. That's not a good way for OpenMW to ...

Re: OpenMW-CS Tutorial(s) For The Neophyte
Not really. While OpenMW-CS is still a work in progress, most existing features are fairly stable and definitely do not quality as a moving target. The reason why we don't have enough end user documentation for OpenMW-CS is that there aren't enough volunteers to write it (boring task, I guess). I h...

Re: 5K resolution, Quad-SLI and 10-core support?
I am really the only one that find strange that from 1080 ads skipped to 4k? When (a) it was actually only 3840 and (b) the vertical resolution was already an impressive 2160 twice, as much the full hd 1080. I agree, it's some ridiculous buzzword shit that is going on, designed to sell people scree...

This guy doesn't sound like a troll; he just sounds like an idiot.
