Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

If at all possible, today would be a good day to release, as Morrowind is free for today only for the 25th anniversary of TES. Might be worth mentioning in the post if we release early enough.

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

Everything looks good from my (Win 10 64-bit) end and really glad we were able to get the videos after all. They're great as usual!

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

I agree. While I love and greatly appreciate Atahualpa's videos, especially because they bring to light things that I wouldn't have understood just by reading the changelog, it seems a little absurd to hold off on a release like this unless there's really something impactful to show (e.g. shadows). ...

Re: A tale of two MP mods - openMW/TES3MP and Skyrim Together

I tried to tell DassiD as much in a series of PMs but he still preferred his idea of having it all be part of a single project.

At first I wasn’t a fan of using the Skyrim drama as a way of gaining more support, but Jesus, what a shit show. I had not realized the extent of it.

Re: Scripting Reference

So turns out we had merged an in progress version of the documentation contribution guide and I'd forgotten about it. Whoops! https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/master/reference/documentationHowTo.html I think you're already above the level this was meant for, but feel free to give it a look over to s...

Re: Scripting Reference

All documentation should be in the Docs folder in the main repo. Please use the restructured text syntax and use Sphinx to build the docs locally. This is what RTD uses which will give you an accurate idea of how it will turn out. Both RST and Sphinx have pretty good documentation so I’d search ther...

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline

Lol I like how in your debrief you say your talk was maybe a bit history heavy. Little did you know that's exactly what I'd be looking for :D

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline

Thank you everyone for the input! Especially the dates and links so I can dig around a bit more myself. Nicolay didn't have anything directly to do with that. I bought the domain and maintained it for a few years while in college. This was necessary after some discussion on the Google Groups/email d...

Re: Move RTD docs to separate repo

Scrawl is no longer here, but I believe psi29a and I are on the same page that any and all documentation should be maintained in a single place. I'm at work right now so can't give this the attention it deserves, but if you have input as to why this should be one way or the other, we'd certainly be ...

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline

From my 10+ years at this project, I would say covering this in terms of contributors, features and sub-projects would be a good way to tell the story. Damn, that's a long time! And thank you, I totally agree and really appreciate your bit of the story. If some others can give similar accounts, it ...
