OpenMW is called Open MW because it is open-source. That means that anyone can contribute code to the project. The whole engine - everything - is open. That means that if you know how to code a face generator, you can write the code and it could be implemented in OpenMW. Same with physics. Same wit...

I could imagine two more features, of course post 1.0: The ability to take notes on a map marker for a location. These would be become especially useful with marking dungeons "cleaned". There might be a chance to use this together with a change of the squares colour and/or symbol Map marke...

I personally own a English GOTY, and therefore didn't tried it yet, but it seems to work - at least after one fixed the dependencies via Wrye Mash

May I be so free? I think that Win98 sucks! To be honest when I used it I was about 8 years old and grew quickly to WinME which..sucked. If I would have known there was a Linux alternative out there and how to install it I would propably changed it as soon as that. Sadly I stayed with it playing Com...
