Re: Fundamentals
It should be perfectly possible to import an Oblivion mesh with nif importer in Blender and export as a Morrowind mesh. But at this point, you are including all Oblivion meshes in a download for it to work. Isn't that copyright infringement? Edit: "» Wasn't Morroblivion shut down by Bethesda? S...

Re: OpenMW Game Template
Any hope that we'll see you come back in the future? Unfortunately not. I'm off to model houses, trees, rocks, creatures. The next time I touch the anim files is probably somewhere post 1.0. I'll be making my own ones for the game I'm making, which means no more updates on these - at least by me. I...

Re: OpenMW Game Template
I'm going to drop my work on anim files because I feel like I need to concentrate on some other stuff right now. If anyone feels like it, they're free to continue the progress. Or even make new ones from scratch. Also, if there are any technical questions about how something was done and why things ...

I think it's fine and we won't run into that problem we talked about.

Re: OpenMW Game Template
Yeah. I did a quick edit since I forgot. Thought no one had downloaded it and left it unmentioned, but new version should have bounding box.
I would need to add it every time I update my base_anims, so I use tcl and tend to forget about it on the whole.

This small update changes skins.nif to have more finger-like fingers with more polygons, so that hand-to-hand animations can be better displayed. 2. You c...

Re: OpenMW Game Template
I'm currently doing hand-to-hand and I'm feeling more and more like no one will want to use these animations. I'd definitely redo them, but that means starting from 0 again. I'm just going to try and finish the more important stuff so that anyone looking at it could learn from my mistakes and do it ...

Re: OpenMW Game Template
For what it's worth, the models and animations are made with Blender2.49B, which is currently the latest version (and old as bones) that supports nif exporting/importing. Hopefully game developers won't need to use that since OpenMW should start supporting formats other than nif at some point.
