Re: Oculus Rift
Yeah, I'm all for that, actually. I will not be getting the Rift. Oculus is poisoning the VR well with its exclusives bullshit and I would hate for OpenMW to support that. I hate the fact that the first year or two is going to be an exclusives shitfest, but you can kinda see why at the same time. F...

Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
Is there any plans to increase physics update rate whenever all the optimization is done for 1.0 or is it a case where if the physics updates are run at the same rate as camera updates the gametime would speed up and slow down?scrawl wrote:Sounds like https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/2737

Re: OSG port roadmap and design plans
Got it recorded at 120fps and slowed part of the video down to half speed to show the jittering better - the physics will be at 30fps but the camera movement will be 60fps.

Posted to the bugtracker bug #2737 as well.

Re: OSG port roadmap and design plans
@Lagahan do you think it's the same bug as https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/2737 ? Ah didn't know it was on the bugtracker already! Yeah that's the one, doesn't look quite as bad on my machine but its the same issue alright! Scrawls describing it as physics frame drops but when you're getting a minim...

Re: OSG port roadmap and design plans
Got my hands on a prebuild of the OSG port - holy balls it performs so much better, while looking much more accurate to boot. Crushing Balmora now :D Ogre D3D9 http://i.imgur.com/aDmYJbF.png OSG http://i.imgur.com/JuKdTRw.png The much improved framerate has had a side effect though, I noticed it on ...

Re: Head bob? yay, neigh, or hay?
Is head bob the same as headtracking, like Skyrim has? Head tracking? Like TrackIR? Unless its a mod, no, Skyrim just has head bob in vanilla. My main reason for wanting to see a body when I look down is to make Oculus Rift support later on a bit nicer :P In fact, its the main reason I'm so excited...

Re: Morrowind Script extender integrated?
Out of interest, whats the restrictions that have been lifted? I remember back when I was modding Morrowind I was trying to script actors to move between cells and activate objects (use doors to go inside, travel from one town to another etc) but it always crashed. This was back before I had interne...

Re: Head bob? yay, neigh, or hay?
Seeing your body when you look down would be better than headbob IMO, but why not, add a slider for it. Just as long as I can turn it off

Re: Some feedback on v0.31
Did you take the original soulgem out? This quest worked for me at the weekend on latest stable release.
