Re: MyGUI 3.2.1 released

Still waiting on upload from Debian, having issues with line endings since mygui devs work with windows line endings instead of unix line endings. :/ Actually we always used native line endings, i.e. based on system where you clone repository. This was broken after moving to git and then fixed. My ...

Re: OpenMW featured on IGN

Featured on Pocket Gamer as well: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Android/OpenMW/news.asp?c=60793 This is the worst article I have seen. They just unilaterally declared that it doesnt work and implied that the project might not even finish. seems they are confusing the two-month old port of OpenMW t...

Re: OpenMW Daily Build PPA

Sorry about that, forgot to bump the version number. Bret is right though, for sanity reasons it's best to only have one ppa turned on at a time. Even though the daily build PPA said 0.29, it really was 0.30+, like bret said the version number in the daily build PPA doesn't necessarily match the rea...

Re: Xubuntu 14.04 openMW won't start

ogre.log looks fine, and you are using all system libraries except libsdl2 which was just rebuilt in the ppa.
Did it used to work before 14.04? Do you have any other PPA repos installed?

I had a sec and just took care of it. LouG, please try to apt-get update and apt-get upgrade in a few minutes (or use your package manager). It will be built and ready for testing soon!

Re: Xubuntu 14.04 openMW won't start

Installed today from ppa - when I start from launcher the outline of a window appears briefly and then disappears. I'm attaching the ogre logs - hope you can get me started... Thanks ogre.log launcherOgre.log Brother brick you can move the libsdl from the daily repo to stable for trusty and utopic,...

Re: Ubuntu 14.04, Mir, and OpenMW.

We pushed a little more and Mir/SDL found an even better solution that will not require any patches at all from us! However, it will take a few days for this to propagate everywhere. See the above post for the solution, they just had to forward declare some structs in SDL and now everything is fine....

Re: Ubuntu 14.04, Mir, and OpenMW.

Here's a workaround you can try (in addition to that include workaround): SDL_setenv("SDL_VIDEODRIVER", "x11", 1); Put this somewhere before SDL_Init (e.g. first line in Engine::Engine) That should hopefully make it run properly. Another silly thing (at least from openmw's point...
