Re: The best from Skyrim to morrowind
A higher poly terrain mesh wouldn't be very useful without a landmass overhaul mod. The mesh density will have to remain that of the data files, unless you perform some fancy interpolation. Use procedural generation (fBm,noise) to add a bit 'salt' to the current landmass. This would generate a high...

Re: Combat - Dark Souls Features
They tap into your stamina, yes, but the effect is shallow at best and stamina drains rather slowly.

Re: [editor] Blender/OpenCS integration (post 1.0)
So now instead of having lots of loose files for every different texture replacer I install I'll have hundreds of separate archives/plugins to load them? It's like my Skyrim nightmares all over again.

Re: Terrain Tunneling/Arching
Afaik they were caused by a limit to the number of ground textures per cell or something. I read that this limit was removed or is much higher in OpenMW so it shouldn't be an issue. Not sure though.

Re: Real-time inventory/map/dialogue
This would be a great post 1.0 option imo, though chances are it'll be mod-added. The menus work like that in Dark souls 1&2 and it forces you to be aware of what's going on around you while you search for health potions to chug, etc.

Simplicity is key, imo. no need to make things complicated with eyeballs and such. Once I mak...

Re: Multiple water levels & sizes and High object count?
The issue isn't with MGE. According to Tes96, the current water implementation in OpenMW suffers from a visual glitch where the water appears to be bright blue in dark interiors. The intended behavior would supposedly be dark or blackish water in a dark interior. At least, that's what I think the is...

Re: Characters and physics
Speaking of which, how is our bullet "issues" coming along? Did we ever work around the problem, or did the problem get fixed? If it isn't fixed, did we ever right that test for the bullet guys? It seems that every time I see this question asked the question goes unanswered. Not sure why,...

Re: Characters and physics
I wouldn't mind something like this for hair, capes, robes, skirts, long dresses, etc. There's a lot of potential. If someone wants to make uber bouncing boobs, it's none of our business. The point of an open source project afaik is to expand upon creativity/freedom, not stifle it. Of course, this p...
