Re: Athletics Research
I would need a way to keep the button pressed in the non-active window of Morrowind.

Re: Global variables of type short
Question for the ESx wikification. A short variable is two bytes long but the FLTV is always 4-bytes long.
So if I understand correctly, the interpretation is: read all the four bytes as an int32_t, if it is in int16_t range you just use it otherwise you read it as zero?

Re: Athletics Research
You seems to have a problematic system. Yesterday I... obtained... a copy of morrowind and it worked out of the box. Too bad I do not have a stopwatch. Friday I will go home and I can do this.

Re: Athletics Research
But swimming is faster, you get 0.03 point per seconds instead of 0.02.
Thinking about it, what about changing the value to 1.0 in the editor? Would we lose precision?

Re: Athletics Research
Seeing the error it seems a path problem. Did you started morrowind.exe from its directory? And just for information, what wine version do you have?

Re: Wikification of ESX format
I was just surprised by the fact that imorrowind uses little endianness even in floats, see this piece of morrowind.esm: 00029060 00 44 41 54 41 03 00 00 00 FF 00 00 53 4B 49 4C .DATA.......SKIL 00029070 AB 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 4E 44 58 ............INDX 00029080 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 0...

Re: Athletics Research
It will enough for OpenMW 1.0
Balmora is a good place for swimming against walls, I think you can find a corner in one of the pillars where you can swim long with ease.

Re: Wikification of ESX format
I wanted to add a note about variable format on the esx files, I am fairly sure that integers are little-endian; string can be fixed max-length or variable length in both cases are null-terminated. Is that right? Secondly, do you know the float variables format? Like in the SKIL record . The "u...
