The mod Rise of the House Telvanni has a realm with many doors that act as portals to key destinations. The preloader might go crazy here. Maybe there should be some sort of upper bound for the amount of preloading.

I was thinking that it might be a good idea for 1.0 and maybe for beta releases to publish OpenMW as if it were a "mod" on there, to increase visibility since many people only check the Top Recently Endorsed mods page. Also, we should contact Dark0ne and see if there's any way to integrate...

Has anyone tried to run OpenMW on the latest code for OGRE 1.10 or 2.0, even though they havent been released? If so, what were the results? Were there any special steps involved to make it run?

The current Github readme contains the entire huge changelog since the beginning of the project. This information is available on the wiki, and thus the Readme should simply link to the wiki.
