Re: Official Diaspora* OpenMW account?
I'm really captured by the idea of PeerTube - would it be okay for me to unofficially reupload some of the YT videos there? Could we license them under CC-BY-SA or something to make these things simpler? Atahualpa is in charge of the videos, right? Are you by any chance reading this, Atahualpa? Okay...

Re: Images
I think this would be best - you know, that's how e.g. Wikipedia works. Would recommend MediaGoblin - it's free software, we could host our own instance or use an existing one.

Re: [PRE-ALPHA WIP/REL] Greylock - An OpenMW based libre game
Man this looks awesome - obviously very early - but I can already see the fun, I laughed when you beat those people with the battery. I dig the throw and climb features. I can see the potential. I thought you were just creating content, but you're also modifying the engine, right? Is it necessary? C...

Re: Optional Vanilla Water Shader
Yep, it's vanilla
Looking at the current water shader right now, it's a huge mess, might use some refactoring first. I might try to do it, seems like a good warmup.

Re: color saturation
Currently not. There's some talk about postprocessing effects which would allow this, but no one's working on it yet AFAIK. I'd personally like to see it too.

Re: Optional Vanilla Water Shader
In my recent 360 degree screenshots I already have the code for creating the environment cubemap. This technique has a lot of drawbacks, the cubemap cannot be rendered each frame, at least not on slower machines - in vanilla it seems to be rerendered each 20 seconds from what I've just tested - that...

Re: Optional Vanilla Water Shader
It's not impossible, but the only graphics guy at the moment is AnyOldName3, and he's busy with shadows. I can't compare to AnyOldName3 but I am mostly working on graphics and I worked on the water shader some time back - I'll take a look at this. I'd like to improve the current shader anyway. Not ...

I also think we need an account on PeerTube. Yes, I have a thing for federated networks

Awesome work, I don't think I've ever written so much text... for convenient reading I've created LaTeX-rendered pdf with TOC.

Re: Original Concepts for Morrowind
Thanks for the link. In the past, I've only garned snippets of info on the original concept, namely to take place in the entire province, rather than just Vvardanfell, from Tamriel Rebuilt's description. Some things that stood out to me include the larger scale and the mixture of procedural generati...
